About us

Run by Dot and Phil Blades, the Elms is situated in the picturesque village of East Harling in Norfolk, on the edge of Thetford forest.

The local train station has links with Norwich, Cambridge and London.

Just a short walk away there are two public houses, both with restaurants, a Chinese restaurant and take-away, a fish and chip shop (we don't mind you brining anything back) and a good variety of shops you would expect in a village.

We are ideally situated for Snetterton race circuit, the start of the Peddars Way is nearby (transport to the starting location can be provided) and touring East Anglia from Cambridge to the east coast, King's Lynn to Sutton Hoo.

Please note we do not have a cash point machine in the village, the nearest is in Attleborough, about five miles away.
